I blogged a while ago about relaxing, and I noticed that less people looked at that than any of the other postings.
I would naturally think that anyone looking at the blogs does know how to relax so there is no need to read it.
Wrong, and I am one of those people who really do need to learn how to relax. I realised recently that it had been a while since I had experienced hypnosis. It had also been too long since a dental check up that my dentist said what a nice surprise it was to see me. I had to admit that I had cancelled a couple of previous appointments because of work commitments, but when he said two years had passed I was shocked. Fortunately I had no problems, so breathed a sigh of relief.
Now, back to relaxation, and taking myself off to a very good hypnotherapist who I personally trained, I came to the conclusion that I should practice what I preach.
Life has been somewhat stressful recently what with two clinic moves in less than three months. (don't ask) So there I was sitting in the therapy chair and experiencing what I help others to experience each day.
What a tonic, I felt so woozy coming out of the session but slept so well. I am continuing with my therapy as it is doing me a power of good and I am certainly noticing the difference.
I wonder how many other therapists have therapy themselves. It could be mandatory for anyone who helps others receives therapy themselves at least one a year.
I am looking forward to my next session!
