Some of us have difficulties in letting go of people in our life. We find it hard to move on away from those people. Friends or close relationships are not always made to stand the test of time. There are plenty of reasons why they don't last, and perhaps the simplest way of explaining it is because the energy has run out.
We are made up from energy so it stands to reason that we create energy in our relationships. It is usually explained as chemistry, but whatever it is, when it is there it is great and when it is gone it has gone, and you can find it almost impossible to get it back.
You cannot see the energy, but you just know it is not there. Maybe you get a flat feeling when you see them, and the buzz is just not there.
Simplest way of dealing with those problems is to let it go, and accept that it has gone. Remember the good times by all means, but make no effort to wish things could be different. They are not, and then was then as now is now.
With luck you will have some relationships that will last forever, no matter what happens. Talk can sometimes be cheap, and people say all kinds of things when you are in the relationship, but remember that time changes our thoughts and feelings.
Keep the energy you have with those people who are still in your life and appreciate them even more. Let go of the others, its not worth the time and effort to waste precious energy.
