What makes NLP training so important?

When I began training, I knew nothing about NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming)I thought it sounded like brain washing. I began to realise that we are all brainwashed, either by messages we have had during our early years, or through messages or scripts we learn later in life. We get brainwashed by Soaps on TV, newspapers, the news on TV and magazines. How we are supposed to think feel and behave. And if we don't conform to what we think is expected of us, we then think we are different or not normal. Remember The Matrix film? The idea there was that we all lived in a computer programme, and nothing was real. Reality was that the world had ended as we knew it and we were being run by computers. To break free, we needed to unplug ourselves from that programme. NLP allows you to do that so you do think, feel and behave in a different way. A way that is just right for you. If you are thinking about experiencing it, find a good NLP practitioner. One that has completed a bona fide NLP course with a qualified trainer. If you are thinking about training, then train with someone who is also a bona fide trainer, not just someone who calls his or herself a trainer. In a world where often people say who they are and then it turns out they are not, it is vital you see their qualifications. Once you have learned the skills, there will be no holding you back.
